Gertrude 'La Maialina' Toscana (2018)

La Maialina Gertrude Toscana is rich ruby color and divine aromas of sweet cherry, cigar box, and vanilla! This little piggy who's label represents the rare Cinta Senese Heirloom pig, native to Tuscany and prized for their uniquely flavored meats, has bright flavors of it's own of raspberry, cola, rhubarb, and a tingly eucalyptus and spice finish.

La Maialina Gertrude is a fabulous red blend from Tuscany comprised of 45% Sangiovese, 25% Merlot and 30% Cabernet. Flavorful and robust, with forward fruit notes and jammy fruit, this wine is balanced out by spicy hints of earth. An excellent choice for casual red meat dishes.
